Sweet & Sinful · our story

Sweet, with a twist.

We make soft knitwear with a little trouble in it. Cozy first, then something more interesting.

Why both

Sweet & Sinful began with a simple observation: the knits women love most are rarely the plain ones or the loud ones. They are the soft piece with one detail that changes how you feel in it.

So every piece has both halves. The sweet half is the yarn, the fit and the comfort. The sinful half is the slipped shoulder, the sheer sleeve, the color you would call dessert. Neither works without the other.

What we obsess over

Sweet, sinful, balance

The sweet

Soft yarns, easy shapes, the sweater you want to live in. Every piece starts here, because nothing is sinful if it is not comfortable first.

The sinful

Then one thing that makes it interesting: a slipped shoulder, a sheer panel, a slit, a color you would order for dessert.

The balance

Never costume, never plain. A knit that works on Sunday morning and still has something to say on Saturday night.

What goes into a piece

The good stuff isn’t loud about it. Here’s what goes into a piece before it ever earns a spot in your rotation:

  • Yarns chosen for how they feel on bare skin, not just on the hanger
  • One detail per piece that makes it a little less innocent
  • Shapes cut close enough to flatter and loose enough to live in
  • Colors that taste as good as they look: cream, cocoa, cherry, blush
  • Small drops, so the good pieces stay a little hard to get
